Engage™ (polyolefin elastomers) is
an ideal modifier that bridge the gap between synthetic rubber and
plastics-engineered to process like a thermoplastic and perform like a flexible,
tough elastomer.
CSM
A ‘super mid-performance’ elastomer
with excellent resistance to heat, oil & grease, weather resistance and UV
stable. CSM (chlorosulfonated polyethylene) can be operative under wide
temperature range – 40°C to 150°C, colourable and colour stable, good electrical
properties and formulatable for adhesion to a variety of substrates.
INFUSE™
Infuse™ (Olefin Block
Copolymer) exhibits unique properties versus Polyolefin elastomers and
plastomers. It offers outstanding flexibility – high temperature resistance
balance, excellent elastic recovery, excellent compression set at room and
elevated temperature and improved abrasion resistance.
NEOPRENE
Invented in 1930s,
Neoprene (polychloroprene) is a mid-performance elastomer with well-balance of
performance properties. Neoprene has temperature resistance up to 125°C, oil and
grease resistance, chemical resistance, low compression set and do not support
any fire combustion.
NORDEL™
In the 1990s, Dow made waves with NORDEL™ (ethylene propylene diene monomer) IP
hydrocarbon rubber products that are produced with patented INSITE™ catalyst
technology, setting new, higher standards in EPDM performance. NORDEL™ IP
improves yield, reduces scrap and provides outstanding polymer cleanliness.
CPE
CPE (chlorinated polyethylene) offers excellent flexibility and resistance to
ignition, chemicals, low temperatures and weathering. Around the world, TYRIN
CPE resins offer superior performance in many thermoplastic and elastomer
applications. For example:
Thermoplastic applications – features cost effective impact modification for
vinyl siding and window profiles and for PVC pipes, electrical connectors and
fittings.
Asia-Pacific markets – used as an impact modifier and flame retardant
additive in ABS compounds for injection mold computer housings.
Elastomer applications – offers cost-effective chemical, heat and
flame-retardant properties in automotive, wire and cable, and general rubber
applications.
VAMAC®
Vamac® is an ethylene acrylic
elastomer (AEM) with high performance properties used for automotive, industrial
seals, gaskets, molded & extruded rubber articles. Excellent oil and
chemical resistances, high temperature resistance up to 175ºC, good compression
set resistance and low temperature flexibility are the general performance
characteristics of Vamac® as denoted by the assignment of EG under ASTM
2000.
VERSIFY™
VERSIFY™ (plastomers and
elastomers) are a versatile family of specialty propylene-ethylene copolymers
produced with a revolutionary catalyst in combination with Dow’s proprietary
INSITE™ Technology and Solution Process.
The unique molecular architecture
of these new specialty polymers provides films, fibers, and molded parts with an
outstanding combination of excellent optics, sealing and hot tack performance,
plus elasticity, flexibility, softness and compatibility in blends.
VICOM
Genuine high performance VICOM
fluoroelastomer compound can be custom-manufactured to meet the stringent
requirement of physical and mechanical properties. Typical application of VICOM
will be in automotive, chemical processing, oil and gas industries, aircraft and
aerospace engineering as bonded seal, gaskets, O-rings, sheeting and tubes.
BIODEGRADABLE POLYMER
Biodegradable resins of high heat resistance, high tensile strength and impact strength that may be processed in any conventional processing equipment for plastics. Easy to shape, high properties performance and relatively low cost are some of the typical advantages our modified biodegradable resins provide.
FOAMING AGENT
Foaming Agents which are especially suitable for making products under different technological conditions. Our foaming agents are characterised by uniform granule size, stable foaming performance and excellent dispersaibility.
